At Jefferson County Health Center we strive to provide the very best health care to our community. In my role as CEO, I am truly committed to fulfilling Jefferson County Health Center's mission to provide safe, high quality health care to the people and communities we serve.

This is a very exciting time for us. We opened the new Jefferson County Health Center in April of 2009. Our new medical campus includes the Medical Arts Clinic, the Fairfield Clinic, the Jefferson County Health Center Professional Clinic and the Doug Johnson Dialysis Center. The new 123,000 square-foot replacement hospital incorporates innovative sustainable design features as outlined in the Green Guide for Health Care™. The new Health Center is one of the leading hospitals in Iowa promoting green features through planning, design and construction to reduce waste and promote maximum efficiency and flexibility for greater patient safety, dignity, healing and wellness. We designed a healing environment rich in nature's colors, woods, stone, glass, water, natural light and scenic Iowa photography. This new facility features the latest state-of-the-art technology allowing us to provide you with the very best care.

We understand that health care is evolving. The advances in medicine and strides in technology are providing local communities access to better health care. It is our goal to provide the best care to everyone who walks in our door. Our staff is committed to helping you and your loved ones when the need arises.
