It is Jefferson County Health Center’s (JCHC) goal to communicate and update you regarding the latest COVID-19 vaccine information.
Jefferson County Public Health has notified JCHC that we will be receiving more vaccinations this week.
The current criteria established by the state of Iowa requires vaccinating individuals aged 65 years or over. In addition, JCHC will identify individuals at high risk by utilizing our COVID-19 Risk Score. JCHC will contact these individuals to schedule them for vaccines. All vaccinations will be pre-scheduled and by appointment only. Once received, all vaccines will be administered within the next 7 days.
