JCHC Annual Hygiene Collection Drive to Support Fairfield and Pekin School Districts
May 2, 2024
Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC) is proud to announce the commencement of its annual Hygiene Collection Drive, aiming to support students in the Fairfield and Pekin School Districts. With the mission to ensure every child has access to essential hygiene products, JCHC invites the community to participate by donating items vital for maintaining health and confidence.
Hygiene is an integral part of a student's well-being and self-esteem. Unfortunately, not all families can afford basic hygiene products, placing a strain on the students' ability to maintain cleanliness and comfort. Recognizing this need, JCHC has been organizing the Hygiene Collection Drive annually, providing a platform for community members to contribute and make a tangible difference in the lives of local students.
The Hygiene Collection Drive welcomes donations of various hygiene products, including but not limited to body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, menstrual hygiene products, diapers, wipes, toilet paper, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. These items play a crucial role in maintaining personal hygiene and promoting overall health among students.
Donating to the drive is simple and convenient. Collection bins have been strategically placed in the main lobby and JCHC Clinic for easy drop-off. Donations will be accepted now through May 22nd. Community members are encouraged to contribute whatever they can, knowing that even the smallest donation can make a significant impact on a student's life.
As the collection drive kicks off, JCHC urges individuals, businesses, and organizations to support this meaningful cause. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of students and empower them with the confidence and dignity they deserve.
