JCHC Celebrates Patient Experience Week
April 24, 2026
Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC) is proud to celebrate Patient Experience Week, April 27 through May 1, a nationally recognized week dedicated to honoring the people, moments, and interactions that define the patient experience in healthcare.
At JCHC, patient experience means more than providing medical care—it’s about creating an environment where every individual feels seen, heard, valued, and cared for. From the first interaction to the final follow-up, every detail matters in shaping a positive and meaningful experience.
Throughout the week, JCHC will host a series of activities designed to celebrate and support patients while reinforcing the organization’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Patient Appreciation Day will take place on Tuesday, April 28, when patients visiting JCHC locations will be welcomed with a small token of appreciation to recognize the trust they place in our team for their care. On Wednesday, April 29, JCHC leadership will conduct Comfort Cart Rounding, visiting patients throughout the organization, offering items from a comfort cart, and taking time to connect, listen, and ensure patient needs are being met while providing an opportunity for patients to share feedback and engage directly with leadership. On Thursday, April 30, patient and family stories will be posted throughout the facility acknowledging their care experiences to help recognize staff and to celebrate meaningful moments of care. Stories may be submitted at jeffersoncountyhealthcenter.org/share-your-story.
Patient Experience Week is a reflection of JCHC’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality care with compassion and respect. By listening to patient voices and continuously improving the care experience, JCHC strives to make every interaction a positive one.
