JCHC Is Expanding Digital Communication with Patients
Jefferson County Health Center is introducing new communication tools designed to make it easier to stay informed about your healthcare and to provide feedback about your experience.
As JCHC expands digital communication with patients, you may notice text messages and emails from new phone numbers, short codes, and email addresses. These are legitimate communications associated with your care sent on behalf of Jefferson County Health Center through trusted healthcare partners.
New MyChart & Healthcare Text Messages
Beginning July 28, some text messages generated through our electronic medical record system (Epic) will come from: 942723
These messages may include:
- MyChart notifications
- Test results
- Billing updates
- eCheck-In reminders
- Scheduling updates
- Provider communications
While this update expands our text messaging capabilities, appointment reminders are not changing at this time, and two-way text messaging is not yet available.
Patient Experience & Review Requests
Following some visits, you may also receive a request asking you to share feedback about your experience at JCHC. These messages help us better understand what we're doing well and where we can improve while also helping future patients learn more about our providers and services.
Official review requests may come from:
· Email: no-reply@consumerism.pressganey.com
· Text Message: 73706
A text message may look similar to this:
"Hey, [First Name], could you help us learn about how we did? Please click the link to leave us a review. We truly appreciate it!"
These messages may invite you to leave a Google review for the provider you saw or the clinic or department where you received care. Participation is completely voluntary, and we appreciate every patient who chooses to share their experience.
How to Opt Out
If you no longer wish to receive review request text messages, simply reply STOP to any review request text. You may opt out at any time. Please note that opting out of review requests does not affect important healthcare communications you receive from JCHC, such as MyChart notifications, test results, or other messages related to your care.
