PATIENT PAGING SYSTEM NOW AVAILABLE FOR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WAITING FOR PATIENTS IN SURGERY

"Our paging system is very similar to what is used in restaurants. It allows that family the ability to get out of Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) and walk around the hospital. When their loved ones are coming back from OR we page the family (the pager lights up and vibrates) to come back to ACU so they can talk to the surgeons about how the procedure went. Many times family is able to be at the bedside when the patients are really starting to wake up. We just got them so they haven't been used too much yet, however the families that have used them really like the concept." - Desi Coop, RN

You no longer have to wait for someone to call you with your lab test results. Sign-up for our secure patient portal the next time you have a procedure at JCHC. You can log into your account from any computer. All that is required is an email address and our front desk will set up your account. This account cannot be accessed from this website. It is located on our secure medical record computer system. You will have the ability to print or forward your results to other medical providers.
