Summer Snacking Series: Week 5 – Build Your Own DIY Snack Box

We've reached the final week of our Summer Snacking Series! This week is all about creating your own DIY Snack Box—a convenient way to enjoy a variety of nutritious foods while keeping healthy choices within reach.

Snack boxes are easy to customize based on your family's favorite foods and nutritional needs. The goal is to include foods from several food groups for a balanced snack that provides protein, fiber, healthy fats, and carbohydrates.

Mix and match ingredients like fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grain crackers, cheese cubes, hard-boiled eggs, nuts, seeds, hummus, or popcorn. Preparing several snack boxes at the beginning of the week can make busy mornings and summer outings much easier.
