Dr. Matt Bednarchik is a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) with a dual board certification in Nurse Anesthesia and Nonsurgical Pain Management (NSPM-C). He began his career in 2012 after earning his Master’s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Dr. Bednarchik’s extensive career includes administering anesthesia at St. John’s Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, where he co-founded the Center for Pain Management in 2015. This full-service pain clinic provides advanced care, including medicine management for chronic pain, spinal and joint injections, migraine management, and nerve blocks.
In 2021, Dr. Bednarchik earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and completed an Advanced Pain Management Fellowship at the University of South Florida. His subspecialty board certification in Nonsurgical Pain Management highlights his expertise in managing chronic pain outside of the operating room.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bednarchik is a part-time professor and clinical coordinator at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, mentoring the next generation of CRNAs in anesthesia and pain management. His commitment to excellence in patient care and education makes him a valued member of the JCHC team, providing comprehensive, compassionate care to patients.
