Love all the doctors we've seen at jchc. We come from Ottumwa to doctor there.

She genuinely seemed concerned about my issue and wanting to help. Listened to everything I had to say and answered all of my questions. Explained everything I had to do including upcoming appointments, results of swab test and the medication she prescribed. Great bedside manner and wonderful personality. I definitely felt calm and relaxed with her. Hope to see her again.

I went to the walk- in clinic for a suspected UTI. The day before my visit (Sunday) I had strong symptoms. They were lighter on the day of my visit. I went in anyway to initiate a culture that takes 3 days before a result. Based on my lighter symptoms the nurse practitioner did not prescribe an antibiotic without knowing what bacteria was causing the symptoms. This was very smart to protect my micro-biome. The culture turned out negative so the right decision was made. Current diagnosis is (home grown) isProstate inflammation . Going with recommendations from ChatGPT. Seems to be working. I'm impressed with the nurse practitioners that I've met in the walk-in clinic.
