Kimberly Wright, ARNP, FNP-C, brings more than 20 years of nursing experience and a lifelong passion for caring for others to Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC). Kim began her healthcare career as a CNA at age 18 before becoming a nurse, spending much of her nursing career in trauma and emergency care, including serving as a nurse in the JCHC Emergency Department. Driven by a desire to provide more comprehensive care for her patients, she continued her education and became a family nurse practitioner, graduating from Chamberlain University in April 2025.
Now caring for patients in the JCHC Walk-In Clinic, Kim provides care for patients of all ages, with special interests in family practice, women's health and urgent care. Her extensive nursing background and experience in emergency care help her assess a wide variety of illnesses, injuries and other immediate healthcare needs. She strives to create a positive, personable environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and leave feeling heard and cared for.
A small-town native with big dreams, Kim describes herself as dedicated, trustworthy and genuine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family and has recently taken on an exciting new role as a grandmother. She enjoys traveling, camping, boating and taking an annual spring trip to Pensacola Beach. Kim also enjoys being creative and has a passion for aesthetics and wellness, including owning a salon created in honor of her mother.
